Has anyone been able to find anyone who has committed to next weeks event? The NEC event is the same weekend and the only articles I could find were about the lack of sponsorship and the fact that they might kill this event next year.

Gonna a tough decision on rather to drain/buy trades the next couple of weeks.

Just a heads up for you live scoreboard watchers:

For some reason, I've had more trouble this year with scoring feeds for the majors. I've already had to make one adjustment today, although as far as I know, all is working OK for the moment.

I will be away for a good bit of the day tomorrow, and I will be out for most of Saturday as well (driving to Ohio - an 11 hour trip). If live scoring breaks down during the day, you'll probably just have to live with it - or hope it self-corrects. I'm confident that I can update scores accurately each night, but am not at all confident that something won't go haywire during the day. I appreciate your patience.

Guru, Heath Slocum score is not updating and I notice he is not listed above in post #8.

Looks like Andre Stolz is no longer listed. Slocum must have been a last minute replacement.

Yes Slocum replaced Stolz, but not last minute. Done Tuesday afternoon but never shown anywhere on pgatour or golfweb until this AM. I found the info over on PGA's website field link.

Half the field will tee off this afternoon. It appears the cut should be about +5/+6 at top 70 and ties.

Woods +7 thru 8. He has some work to do, hope he can pull it out.

Q: What is the difference between me and Tiger Woods?

A: I'll be at Batusrol on Sunday ;)

DiMarco!

GRRRRRRRR

Even more good/bad news. I'm leading in WB, but likely to loose 2, maybe 3!

Guru,

I don't know if this would be difficult to add, but I'd like to see a "What if?" feature where I could see what my team's score would have been if I had chosen Player X instead of Player Y (or if I had chosen this foursome over that foursome). I'd also like to see what the highest scoring foursome possible for that week is after each tournament. Again, I understand that adding these features would probably be a pain that's not worth the effort, but I think it would be interesting.

Actually, the "what if" is a neat idea, and probably not a particularly difficult add-on. I'll be on vacation for the next few weeks, so it probably won't happen until September.

I'm not quite sure how to go about finding the optimum foursome, however.

cant recall the necessarily correct terms/process from my college math (been awhile lol), but with say 70 guys making the cut for the 3rd/4th rds, you have a rather large number of permutations(?) or possible 4-some combinations. Bit more difficult a programming chore than it would probably prove to be worth I fear. (Though I agree, it would be "interesting" to know. Not sure if that after-the-fact knowledge would be worth anything however.)

I'll second the "what if" request. I've often wished there was a GuruGolf Assimilator so I could see how stupid I was to make the trades that I did.

I was thinking about suggesting the best possible roster after each round, similar to the Football Pick-ums teams.

You could do it based on a roster of 4k, and one with the average roster value, or highest roster value.

I'm not sure about the coding, but using an optimizer add-in like Excels should reduce the manual calculation piece.

Noticed that Goosen's, Appleby's & Mick's final scores are not updated. A glitch perhaps?

LOL! That statement is tough to wrap my brain around, but I think I get it.

Hey, we all know fantasy is hands down favorable compared to reality, anyway.

GoatLocker, your post is almost as funny with it's likely unintended stoicism.
