0 Subject: It's time to put the "g" in "games" in Sartibles

Guru, just a little proof-reading note. The line in red at the top
of the page reads "Includes ames played thru 11/8".

Not to be picky either, but I just notice that when I click the full NBA schedule the page comes up, but the title of the browser says 2005-2006 NBA schedule.

I've noticed that the players the sartibles tells me to pick aren't any good.

Speaking of the sartibles...

Why won't it show just GF or FG?

Not sure. I wonder if it ever worked correctly?

Regardless, I fixed it.

While we're here.

12/16 seems to have some erroneous 'green' cells on both the 4-week and full season schedule.

Phoenix also comes before Philadelphia on the schedules when it looks like it was intended to be in alphabetical order. =P (have noticed this one for years, but never bothered to speak up)

Green fixed.

Left Phoenix where it is. I was afraid it might screw something up to move it.

I'll join in the fun:

In the Hoops Player Lookup, the link to the Rotoworld player pages is incorrect for most players. It goes to a search page that lists all players in all sports with the same last name.

Rotoworld changed their ID #s for all players not long ago (without my permission!) They used to use the same codes that ESPN used. Now they are all unique to RotoWorld, and I don't have a comprehensive list. So I switched to the RotoWorld lookup function.

Some day maybe I'll work on getting the new codes. For now, what you have is the best link I can provide. It's not incorrect. It means you sometimes need an extra step to get there. And if the player's last name is unique, it should get you to the right page without the extra step.

(Actually, it just occurred to me where I can get a consolidated list of the codes for most of the active NBA plaers. I'll work on that tomorrow.)

RotoWorld codes have been inserted for most active NBA players this morning. I know there are still some RotoWire codes that are missing, particularly for rookies. I'll work on updating those today as well.

Guru: On your schedule analyzer, 11/23 should be shaded gray since there are no games on that day.

Thanks, I hadn't even noticed that. There's usually at least one game on Thanksgiving.

By taking that date out of the color scheme, there's a lot more green in the coming week. For example, Cleveland, Detroit, Miami, New Orleans, Philly, and Washington now effectively play on four straight days.

I just made a correction in the Assimilator. Previously, in FireFox, the Assimilate button was not always functioning properly. I think it should work all the time now.

In addition, in both FireFox and MSIE, when you click in the "Assimilate" button, a completely new window will open. Previously, if you had an old Assimilated roster window open, the new Assimilation would overwrite the old version in the same window. By allowing multiple Assimilated roster windows to be open simultaneously, it should be easier to compare two different roster projections.

I'm not sure why I had it set up the other way, although it's been that way since its birth.

Game counts seem to be off by one in the Sartibles producing inflated TSNP/g.

I think it's OK now.

Yup, looks good. No more 90+ TSNP/g from the reigning MVP over the past 7 days.
