See Frank p's Finals Tipping Comp for lengthier explanation of rules: but basically pick a winner of each game and allocate 4 pts to your most confident winner, 3pts to the next , then 2 and 1 pt to your least confident tipp. You will get positive values relative to the confidence you have assigned each tipp for the winners, and negative for those tipps that lose. Look out, Big Jack's on the Attack: Elliott then approached Fremantle coach Damien Drum, mistaking him for Kerr, and unleashed a series of abusive comments before realising he was attacking the wrong man. Mrs Elliott left the function. The incident followed an altercation between Elliott and an AFL female staff member in March this year which caused AFL chief executive Wayne Jackson to intervene and led to an apology from the Carlton president. Elliott later called the official and apologised for his conduct, admitting that he had been drunk and could not remember the incident. Isn't the AFL the best? ;-) | ||||||

Welcome to the playoffs, gentlemen! Thanks to edperl for posting the tip 'ems! I'd like to start by saying the Big Jack is a reporter's dream. His latest drunken screw-up could be his best. Check out the article and (more importantly) the picture of him on AFL.com's home page. It would be great if one of you with the knowhow could post that picture here. He looks like some drunk grabbing a quick snacky cake. Well we're off to tipping. For the first time this year, Mrs. Rugg has the same picks. I hope she's right. HELLO MULLETS: It's been been quite a while since I have had the pleasure to visit my Yank-me friends. Let's just say I have been busy. I hope the sensitive among you do not mind my visits. Made the mistake of stopping by the bottleshop tonight and I'm still up tooling around the internet. I must say that I follow your footy board when I can. It is a constant source of amusement. After all the grief I gave to Yohan, HE won your tipping comp? You blokes rattle on about the game but know very little. Obviously nobody on this board has taught you the game. I hate to skite, but as a former ruckman I used to play and now love to watch footy. (GO CROWS!) I've seen that my sense of humor has offended the sheilas among you in the past. I just have to reply to you CHAD. Welcome back and it's good to see your still drinking, but I have a couple of things to say. Thanks for introducing us to the term mullett, I had to look it up and found it was a hairstyle. Very funny! If you are a former 'ruckman' (schoolboy footy does not count) why didn't you show up for the arranged fight between me and your good self, which I believe was arranged by edperl? Running scared of proven Port strength?? One last thing CHAD, you know what the nicest part of the year for Port was??......................BEATING THE ABSOLUTE SH*T out of the crows in the last game of the year!! Wow, Chad Henry, what an honor. I see you already are teaching us a thing or two, Don't tipp the Cats like you, our we will also be losers just like you. I find it hard to believe you played footy at any significant level because if you did you would not be so condescending to our board. Unfortunately I don't know the Aussie bush leagues very well to confirm what level you failed out at. Nevertheless, as always you are welcome on this board, and I myself am confident you will be running behind in my droppings when the Finals Tipping is complete. ;-) | |||||
