I have had a couple of important presentations to give and they have taken a lot of my time away from important things like Footy, Stubbies and Choon. Important news is that Port Adelaide added their first piece of silverware to the trophy cabinet by winning the Ansett Cup with a resounding victory over the Brisbane Lions. The first round of matches get under way on Friday 30 March, and the games are; 2001 Premiership Season Round 1 View Channel 7 TV Footy times Friday, March 30, 2001 Where When Kangaroos v. Essendon (Night) MCG 7:40 PM Saturday, March 31, 2001 Where When Hawthorn v. Collingwood MCG 2:10 PM Fremantle v. Carlton (Night) Subiaco 7:40 PM AEST Western Bulldogs v. St Kilda (Night) Colonial Stadium 7:00 PM Port Adelaide v. Brisbane (Night) Football Park 7:40 PM AEST Sunday, April 01, 2001 Where When Geelong v. West Coast Shell Stadium 2:10 PM Melbourne v. Richmond MCG 2:10 PM Sydney v. Adelaide SCG 2:10 PM Remember that the home team is named first. The teams doing the long haul in this round are; Carlton Brisbane Adelaide. Remember you don't have to have your tips in for another week, Thurs 29th USA time. I'll attempt to find as many injurie reports as I can for your fantasy teams. | ||||||

Just to refresh some rules. 1. Drink plenty of beer 2. as above!! 3. non tipping will result in you being alloted all the AWAY teams for that round. 4. picking the correct 8 will give you an extra 3 bonus points. 5. Winning tipster will get a prize again. I think we should have a pool on how many times goobster screws up this year. Now here are the winners; Essendon duh!!
