Subject: NEW FANTASY GAME!! Posted by: Frank p - [122342821] Thu, Mar 29, 16:34 I have just stumbled across a new game. This one lets us play round by round!! I'm not sure whether we can have our own division but this game looks really good. The game does not start until round 3 so take a look and see what you think. new fantasy game!! | ||||||

Looks like if I read the rules correctly that if we played game 1, each player could only be owned by 1 of the 10 teams, but we could trade and drop/add weekly. Game 2 is similar to the game we're playing in that you draft 30 players and pick 22 to start each week. Game 3 allows you to pick 30 new players each week, but only keeps stats for each week, not for the full season. Don't see much point to playing game 2, since it's about the same as the afl.com.au game. Game 3 would be OK but would require somebody here to keep stats for the full season, and I wouldn't ask anyone to do that. Game 1 looks pretty solid all the way around. If we can get 10 people playing total, that would be a lot of fun. Count me in! | |||||

I got a league started in game one. We need 8 people to get this going. The league name is EFF Footy Heads and the code is 536005. I think this is the better game, so I hope we can get 8 people interested. | |||||

I'll be joining as soon as things slow down here at work Frank p. I apolgize for the new site, I see individual totals have been calculated but they have not listed team totals or league standings. We may have to calculate our team totals ourselves. I can already see their point weighting gives much different results for the same player's performance in the AFL fantasy site. Frank p, I entered the new game but it would not let me join your league, it created a league of my own and offered to let me invite friends. I suggest since you started an EFF league, we provide you with our e-mail addresses and you send us an invite to join your league. In the FAQ section it was explained that is how you can have all your friends in same league. Let's lobby friends to provide their e-mail so we can fill the eight. I'll start: edperl@msn.com | |||||

Frank, I'm in, and this league is definitely the easiest to join! I was done picking in less than fifteen minutes. I am officially ending my association with the Ozsportnet game. It has very confusing interaction with the user and the points clearly are screwed up. This new one seems like it is run much better. I'll stay with this game and AFL's game. Should be a great season. BTW, I watched the Power-Lions game on Fox Sports World last night. Well, not the whole game. They condensed it down to two hours. But it was excellent. The Power look very strong, despite the loss to the Bombers. | |||||

Edperl, I got you email away finally. :)) We need one more if Yohan takes up the offer and then we can start picking players etc. Rugg, Essendon were awesome last night. We threw everything at them and they just weathered the storm each quarter and then blew us away. The final result was flattering to us as the Bombers took the foot off the pedal for the last 20 minutes. At least we ran the game out right to the end and didn't just give up like we used to. | |||||

this game isn't 100% perfect either...... i chose my team.....but somehow it managed to give me 2 of the same player for 4 players.... so i have 2 dean coxs 2 time clarkes etc..... i thought this would be ok ......because i could just sell the players...... but when i try and sell them.....nothing happens..... ??????????? | |||||

Hi there guys...I just stumbled across this AFL game (click on the link down the page a bit under "news")..I have no idea if you have seen it or not..I drop in to different sports from time to time to see whats happenning,saw the Aussie rules boards so thought you might be interested...probably to late now to be competitive but maybe in the future??
