Subject: Fantasy Game Update Posted by: Frank p - [413412817] Sat, Apr 28, 17:48 I sent an e-mail to the Virtual Sports people and here is my reasonably prompt response. Dear All, We would officially like to welcome you to the VirtualSPORTS Aussie Rules Fantasy Footy challenge 2001. With the football season now well under way, the games are ready to commence! Due to the overwhelming interest we have had in the games, we have decided to slightly postpone the publishing of stats in order to give everyone a fair chance to form their leagues and select their teams - as a result, the first stats will now be published at the conclusion of Round 6 (Monday 7th May), and then weekly at the end of each round! Therefore, please take note of the following important dates: * 10pm, Wednesday 2nd May - GAME 1 - FOOTY LEAGUE DEADLINE All Footy Leagues must be formed, with 8 players per league. All leagues which have attracted less that 8 players, and users who have selected to be added to a random league, will automatically be placed in a Footy League of 8. You will then receive email notification to login and select your team! * Sunday, 6th May - TEAM SELECTION DEADLINE This is your very last chance to enter the season long Footy League and Dream Team Competitions before they are locked out for the rest of the season. You can also enter the weekly competition for Round 6 by this date. We thank you for your patience, and if you have formed a League, please ensure that you have 8 members as soon as possible. If you are a part of another league or playing some of the other games, spread the word and tell your friends about it! And remember, you can play ALL 3 GAMES and enter teams in each one! As always, we'd like to hear from you and your experiences with VirtualSPORTS! We aim to be the best in Fantasy Footy and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
