*Club prez John Elliott has done it again. This time, he's got South Australia totally pissed off at him. After the Hall of Fame ceremonies last week, he said SA champion Barrie Robran should not have been elevated to Legend status as he had never played at VFL/AFL level. He went so far as to refer to Robran's elevation as "scraping the bottom of the barrel". He did concede that Robran was a champion player in South Australia. As a result, his invitation to speak prior to the Carl/Ade game in August in SA has been withdrawn by the SANFL CEO. North Adelaide, Robran's team, has also said Elliott would never be invited to any of their functions.
Frank, I'm volunteering to be your second in defending South Australia's honor. We'll meet Big Jack anywhere anytime. For a guy who peddles that piss called Fosters he certainly has a huge ego to take on the home of Coopers.

This has turned out to be one great weekend. My local beverage store has replenished the Coopers and I have tied the 'perl' in tipping with a great Doggy victory. And for those who saw it, a great hockey Stanley Cup final.
By the way, Frank, what type of beer do they serve at Footy Park?

Unfortunately they only serve West End beers at Footy Park, unless you get into a Sponsors private box. The choice then is much wider and includes Coopers. I had the pleasure of drinking one of these dry last season, but that's another story of fun and degredatiion.
We, of course, got zero coverage of Game 7, but I hope it was a beauty.
