Subject: Tipping Results: Round 14, plus vacation stories. Posted by: Frank p - [5862995] Mon, Jul 09, 06:02 Well folks, I'm back!! After a fantastic week in the Flinders Ranges (look it up) where much Coopers 'Pale Ale' was downed, I'm rested and ready for more footy action. The Flinders Ranges is a beautiful spot here in South Australia and I was just in awe of some of the beautiful scenery which greeted my bloodshot eyes each morning. The only unfortunate thing to happen was an unexpected downpour which made the unsealed roads quite trecherous. I managed to get my car bogged in the mud and had to wait for a guy in his 4 wheel drive to tow me out of the muck. Once we got out of there we had to cross a creek which had become a raging river and I was thinking I'd have to get my girlfriend out to push, but luckily (I suppose) we made it through the water without losing the car or any beer. The AFL season took a turn for the bizarre this week with some very strange results. 'The Master' maintained his buffer at the top, but things are definitely getting tight at the top. G*3 is making ground on everyone with some amazing tipping. | 2 | G*3 ID: 1054298 Mon, Jul 09, 08:36 | Test me baby! Actually, I've been watching footy regularly on FSW. They only show the one game Rupert Murdoch thinks is the corker of the week. This usually means the come from behind win. What about a good ol fashioned drubbing. Last: the Blues beating the dickens out of the Dawgs at the Oval (notably the oval doesn't have the adds painted on the field) forced my girlfreind to watch and now she can't understand how this sport came to be filled with cute guys. Don't have Coopers at the local trading post so I suck back a few Caffery's - and hope the cats are so dominate that they never appearon FSW - ps. I being watching the ITL too.
