Wow! What a brutal week! Upsets all over the place. I don't think I'll ever trust the Hawks again. Shameful!
Congrats to Beezer, for his week-winning "5". Four of us picked 4 correctly. G*3 had 3 and Perm Dude tipped a painful 2. Therefore the standings remain the same, except for Ms Pez officially taking one more spot. This week looks pretty tough as well. Welcome back to edperl, who attended the Brickyard 400 on Sunday. No doubt he won't wash the clothes he wore so as to keep the sweet smell of exhaust and rubber in them as long as possible. Hopefully I'll be able to post next week, if I'm alive. As part of my birthday gift (the big 3-4) my wife bought me a package at the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the track in Joliet, Illinois. I'll be driving a 600 horsepower Winston Cup car at the track for 8 laps. Something tells me it isn't quite as easy as it looks on TV. ;).

A very tough week for tipping and this week will be tough too. The mighty POWER have cemented a spot in the eight, now we need to look for the double chance by finishing in the top four.
Good luck at the track Rugg, maybe you should have a couple of Coopers to settle the nerves? ;)

I thought that would be a good idea, too, but they're really touchy about booze before driving the race car. Talk about boring.
