All hail the 2001 EFF 'footy brain of the year'.......edperl!!
Congratulations on a great effort to steal the championship at the last minute.
I know that I felt like Secretariat leading down the straight all the way through the season, but that old nag never fell over as badly as I did this year. All praise though to edperl on a fantastic tipping performance........now you just have to tell me which team you would like some goodies from? Is a cap ok? I'll find some other fun stuff to send you as well.
I must also congratulate all the tipsters who stayed till the end and a special mention to Perm Dude for joining late and giving the title a shake, and it's also good to see winmiller back with us.

Great job edperl! Truly an awesome display of picking prowess to close the season.
PD, I feel it's appropriate that we finished tied, and am very proud to have finished in a tie for 5th my first time out. I'll never forget how grueling the Survivor comp was, I can assure you!
I've had a blast learning about the game and the history behind the game, and getting to know everyone here a bit better. Now it's time to head over to hockey, where I expect to be a bit more competitive for the overall title. :)

Frank p I appreciate your gracious offer of a prize cap. I think I'll go with Carlton to accompany my mini flag and mouse pad. Not to mention my genuine affection for Big Jack and breweries. I'll e-mail you my home address, I beleive I still have your link thanks to the failed coup attempt between you and rugg. Oh, and by the way, thanks for pointing out my ineptitude in last years playoff tipping.

What is it with 'footy brain' winners and Carlton? Is there something in supporting a team run by a fat old drunk and people from Chicago? There's a thesis in there somewhere.
