Happy Australia Day, Frank! Edperl and myself and a bunch of people from our office are heading out shortly to a local pub for our second annual Oz Day Festival. If I recall, and that's a big 'if', we had quite a rowdy time. We drained the place of much of their beer supply and then decided to leave before being asked to by management. Hopefully the place doesn't remember last year's conclusion when they we get there today.

Greetings to the rest of the EFF. The season looms close. The anticipation grows. Frank, any pre-season favorites or good Jack stories?

Happy Aussie Day! I'm watching my son today, so we'll make sure to include the stuffed koala bear from the Olympics at his "breakfast with my friends" this morning.

Hello Rugg,

What a shock that you want to hear some Jack stories...since you don't know Jack!

Thanks for the wishes guys. Rugg, I hope you continued the tradition of drinking heavily and causing plenty of trouble, only to claim that you were too drunk to remember, in the tradition of 'Big Jack'.
PD, I hope Chase still lurves his Koala and grows to have a great respect for Aussie traditions, such as footy, shielas and drinking. ;)
Chad, where have you been all this time? I feel that I know you from another site as your writing seems to have a familiar style to it........Big Footy.com perhaps?

Greetings,
I am astounded by the return of Chad Henry, it can mean nothing other than that a great year awaits us all in the EFF!
Frank p, I awoke this morning with the telltale Fosters hangover, and I swear I really didn't over imbibe. I have a vague recollection of the bar manager offering to order a case of Coopers if we frequent his establihment for ANZAC day.
I beleive we struck an agreement. When is ANZAC day?
Great to hear from the EFF regulars again, I look forward to a terrific tipping year ahead.
Any new sites for Fantasy Footy?
P.S. Frank p my Carlton cap was a big hit at the Australian day outing, thanks.

Alas, I did not stay as long as edperl. I had the ready-to-pop pregnant Mommy Pez with me, so we couldn't stay too long. After a while the smoke was getting a little thick. Fortunately I was able to have my share, since I had a driver for the night. ;)
I have yet to catch any other stories of the evening, but I certainly will let you know of anything juicy.

Oh, I forgot to mention; Welcome back, Chad! Nice to hear from you. When did you get paroled? Or did you win your appeal?
