Well here we go again. The seasons underway and the footy is as unpredictable as ever. Port Adelaide were woeful on Saturday night against a determined Roos team and all my other picks certainly let the 'greatest tipster in the universe' down. I might just add that the first round of fantasy points are up.

Pretty damn crappy tipping by everyone. Maybe now that the baseball season is underway we'll be able to pay more attention to footy.
Frank, are you still on the BigFooty boards? They always seem down whenever I check in there.

Wow, that was ugly! I had a tough week in our league, too. I had picked my and ms pez's teams, but neglected to pick the 22 players for the week. So I was stuck with the 22 that were given to me. I had 5 guys on the team with zero points, and I think she had 4 like that. This should be a good season. This game was much easier as far as picking players goes. Now I'm looking forward to the season's first Big Jack controversy!
On a side note; pd, I'm sneaking up on you in the last few games of the hockey season. I'm gunning for a spot in the top 10,000.

I had forgotten that I set up a second team when the season began. I realized it about a month ago. It had something like 80 trades, so I started day-trading for a long time. It gained about 40,000 spots! Then yesterday I had an invalid roster because the site was so friggin slow that I got stuck in the middle of a trade. Lost 4000 spots when I would have had 400+ points. Ouch. I think next year I'll create a few teams with some studs and some promising players and leave it sit for about half the season, and then see how much ground I can gain by using all the trades.

PD, I am still posting at 'big footy' and still causing trouble there too.
I have instigated a survivor game at the site, so if anyone wants to play here is the link to the game and the site.
Remember that the standards for swearing, abuse and baiting of other posters are much more lenient than here. Most posters are good knowledgeable people, but there are some fools at the site. Having said that, we do have a lot of fun there, so if you would like to join in the game. feel free to do so.
