Finally some sanity prevails and the true 'footy brain' is equal leader...........and I don't mean Rugg ;) This week saw P Tiger pull up a very credible 7, but just miss out by one on the bonus points. Also an interesting start by G*, by claiming that the 'beer gods' would desert Port, hence the #1 now appears.
Rugg............5.............21 Frank p.........6.............21 P Tiger.........7.............20 edperl..........6.............20 The Beezer......6.............19 Ms Pez..........3.............15 Perm dude.......5.............14 G*1.............4.............12 |

Ah yes, remaining at the top, despite spotting you all one due to my 'perl'. Next week could be the magic eight.;)

I think that if a person (i.e. Rugg) commits a 'perl' in the same round that you then turtle the remaining games you should receive a negative bonus point 3. It will be known as the Turtle-Perl Rule. Also, Frank, I read that McLeod is ineligble for the Brownlow because of his one game suspension. Since when does a suspension remove you from Brownlow contention. Why can't you be the best and fairest despite a minor infraction? Please enlighten.
P.S. Chicken Molesters was passed by P Tiger in Afl competition and Edperl is in last place as usual.

PTiger, thanks for pointing out the inadvertant 'turtle'. I hadn't noticed until you mentioned it. I did notice, though, that you apparently have no problem with perl turtling you. I would think you would be concerned with him, since you two are tied for second, BEHIND Frank and myself. ;)

Rugg, way to pat yourself on the back for making a "5". Frank, can we see to it that rugg also gets a "*"? It is richly deserved after rugg busted my chops over the time zone issue, pulls a perl himself, promptly turtles to avoid exposure, and then pronounces it inadvertant. Now that I think of it he deserves a "**".

The difference, edperl, is that when I pull a 'perl', I own up to it instead of weaseling a point out of it. As for patting myself on the back for a '5', Clearly that isn't the case. I'm unhappy with the '5', but I'll take it and stay on top. And I'm not sure if you thought of this, but if I already knew that you gained a point on me, why would I purposely turtle and insure that you gain on me? Wouldn't I try to differentiate a little to keep my margin of lead? I would think that you'd notice that, but I guess you're too busy trying to change the world time zones. Remember, the game is 2:15 pm Melbourne time.
