Just as the Aussies finish up their pro season, so do we, the Americans, with a huge tourney in Kansas City. Though Seattle has only played Vancouver all season, we were placed in Division I because we always kick ass. I am so excited about this, it will be my first tournament, I want to see how my body holds up to four games of footie over two days. We are only bringing 22 players, so are bench is a measley 4 blokes. We'll see how well these 33 year old legs hold up.

Good luck Zen, and try not to go for too many clotheslines on opposition blokes.

Thanks, guys, but you should be wishing me no "pushing in the back"s, the hardest thing for me to avoid.

Wow, we stunk!
Denver wins National Championship, Seattle Cats go 0-3
I'm bruised, less sore than I thought I'd be, 2 pounds heavier from the massive amount of beer I drank, and glad I went, but, man, we stunk!
We only scored goals in 2 of the 6 halves we played. The wind was howling and we played into it the first half of each game, leaving us with large halftime deficits.
In our final game against the hosts, I lost my man at the very begining of the match and watched him kick a goal from a metre away. Then I clobbered him in the back and watched him kick another goal, putting us down 12-0. It will be a long time until Spring when we start up again. I love the sport and can't wait to get out there again.
