Well after last weeks 'all in brawl' between the Bulldogs and the Saints, I'm excited by footy again. THe aFL has become a bit sanitised recently, so it was good to see the boys show a bit of passion and get into it.

I figure I better get these tips in before the big storms I hear coming knock out the power. Yikes. Well, we're back and we're tan! The Caribbean is just a beautiful place, but a week is plenty. Ninety-five degrees is nice for a holiday, but too much for every day living!

I guess we complain a lot here in Chicago. We have cold, snowy and windy winters; short, violent-weather springs (America, and mostly the middle of the country has had over 300 tornados just in MAY so far); hot, humid summers with too many mosquitoes; and autumns that are just too short. Basically we have about two months of good weather per year. That wouldn't be so bad if we had quality sports teams to help us through the bad stuff. Ugghh! Thank God for the Net and footy. And beer.
