Subject: Time to vote for the next Guru Jr.

It has been a fun time being Guru Jr. thanks again.
To recap the criteria, the next Guru Jr. must:
Show signs of Guru-like tendencies, which include, but aren't limited to: statistical support, answering questions, and just being all-around good for the prosperity of this forum. The nominee can also show a sense of humor that makes this forum more enjoyable during hard times.
The winner gets the nametag for the week and the honor of choosing the Guru Jr. the following week based on nominations.
The previous Guru Jr's for this year have been philliephan, Madman, KrazyKoalaBears, RecycledSpinalFluid, Richard, J, and myself.
So, who's next? Tough choice!
Some people who come to mind are Sludge, Cashmere, and everyones friend Blue Hen

There are several great candidates. Not sure if anyone had a chance to read the Belly Division's latest thread but several people in there show why they should be considered as Guru Jr. People like; Pink Pimp, Species, The Prez, walk, VID, DGReds, el tel, jedman, Dave R. and many others.
So hard to choose when there are so many people that deserve to be honored for all they contribute to the site. I think this week, my vote will go to President Polk.

Chicago TRS brings up a good point. All the 'automatics' have won now, the guys that do the much-appreciated grunt-work of running standings, collecting databases, etc...
This makes the next few pretty interesting to me. With those that offer the statistical support already accounted for, we now are to consider those that make quality posts, are helpful to those with questions, and just overall contribute to the RotoGuru community. Guys like everyone that Ref mentioned in post 11, guys like a Chicago TRS or a biliruben or an Ender.
Should be interesting.

As a thank-you for his hard work ripping apart the GSB Growth Rate Theory, and his philosophies on coaching in SimSports Basketball, I would like to nominate JKAYE. He's done such a great job with South Bend in league 4.
Also, I noticed that in post #10, the Blue Hen Fan Club, also known as AlLeN IvErSon cast his vote in my direction. While I appreciate the sentiments, and can certainly commiserate with Mr. Iverson about losing in the NBA finals, I would like to deflect the vote. As a result, I offer up another vote for JKaye. Congrats on getting into UC-Irvine, buddy.

If I could vote for myself, I would, but I think that is frowned upon here.
Therefore, I will do the next best thing and vote for my long lost twin JKaye.
Seriously, JKaye is one of the smartest guys around here when it comes to this whole baseball thing, and is always helpful(even to G Dogg). It's a travesty that he got less votes than Todd and YR last year, and he better win this thing before the year is up.
BTW, classic post Hen. There are probably 5-10 people in the universe that understand it, but count me as one of em that finds it funny as hell.

Also, I think we should cut back on this Guru Jr. thing. What is it, every week? We can't keep that up, jeesh, before you know it, I'll be being nominated for it. And what do I do besides try to give some helpful feedback here and there when I can.
Maybe we can make the title last for a month, or 3 weeks, something longer like that. Or be able to be it multiple times (*cough*Guru*cough*) for doing so much for us. I don't know what to tell you.
