It's been fun, but I think I overslept in my spot here. Time to select someone new.

Once again, Guru, Jr must:

Show signs of Guru-like tendencies, which include, but aren't limited to: statistical support, answering questions, and just being all-around good for the prosperity of this forum. The nominee can also show a sense of humor that makes this forum more enjoyable during hard times.

The winner gets the nametag for 2 weeks and the honor of choosing the next Guru Jr. based on nominations.

The previous Guru Jr's for this year have been philliephan, Madman, KrazyKoalaBears, RecycledSpinalFluid, Richard, J, philflyboy, JKaye, Dr. Doom, bluehen and myself.

Voting will end Monday, midnight pacific.

      Mon, Aug 20, 03:07 		Before a crazy motion gets started again to try and elect me, I'd like to get the momentum rolling in beastiemiked's direction.

Last year's winner of LRV and #2 in both SW FS and MS(to EHF and caper) is contending for a Swirve title, and was #1 the last I heard.

He's also always willing to help those in need of his expertise, and his Cards are on an 11 game winning streak.

      Mon, Aug 20, 03:33 		First of all, congrats to Azd on your successful run. These people don't know it, but I consider you as close to a friend as you can have in this arena.

We all know that it's an oversight that Chris has not been elected. However, for this week, I am going to forgo my weekly "Chris" vote and follow Chris's lead.

Beastiemiked is just about everything you could want in a Gurupie. He offers advice at timely intervals, he's extremely active in all extracurricular activities (games like LRV as well as the chatroom), and, most importantly, he is DAMN GOOD at all the games we play.

This is the perfect week to elect bmd. He just took over the top spot in Swirve, and that's simply further testament to his greatness. Bmd is humble, and content to just play the games (including GSB and SSB) but when the time comes, he always finds a way to win.

He's due. Let's do it...

Dan is active in as many of the extra games as i can remember Tag Team, LRV, 500k, FS, MS,...ETC. and hes not half bad at it either. Hes got a Fullseason team right on the edge of a 100 WR.

and even though im not so active in the Chatroom. You can usually find Dan in there. He's the one always telling me to join in.

I remember one time he told me he stayed up all night just looking at stats to figure out what trades he was going to make the next day...I dont know about you, but to me that means that he's dedictated in The Fantasy Games we all know and love.

Im not sure if Promize has been a guru JR yet but he should also be given some serious consideration.

I know this might be a wasted vote but this guy is my board favorite. He has so many "Guru" like tendencies that I can not list them all. Just because Steve does not post as much as he used to in the baseball forum(I think he has relegated himself to the Politics forum) should not discount him from the Guru Jr. voting.

      Mon, Aug 20, 23:26 		I will reiterate the choices of allhair, bmd, and "the source", all fine choices and worthy of winning. But I'd like to cast my vote for a relatively new member of the board that I think has added a lot with his many fine postings this season.

Chicago TRS has contributed to a lot of discussions, and even when I don't agree with his opinions, he expresses solid logic behind his thinking. Keep up the good work!
