Let us all pray for our Country and fellow brethren during this time of crisis. Let us pray these terrorist are brought to justice. I personnally have a very close friend, MSgt Arnold Tanglao that works at the Pentagon and talked to him on the telephone right before the Pentagon was attacked. God forbid that was our last contact. I have not heard if he is Ok or not but pray he and his family is fine. Please, remember we are Americans and very proud of it. Take care and God bless America and the GIs that protect our freedom !

Veteran here. Have a brother in Kosovo. A soldier is always the first to pray for peace because he is the first to spill his blood. That old saying seems ironic to me now as it was civilians that were killed. I sure hope my fellow soldiers are as enraged as this vet is about the situation. No more Mr. Niceguy!

I heard from someone in DC that the part of the pentagon that was hit might have been a part undergoing renovations and thus not many people in that part. Is that correct?

Don't have any answers yet, will call a close friend tomorrow to see what he has heard out of DC.
Just too hard to try to get reliable info right now.
Better to wait until tomorrow.
Even though the anxiety level is high.

I am working on 19 years active duty.

I feel sorry and my heart goes out to those who have been touched by this madness.

I am still kind of numb over this. I wish to keep my comments to myself for the moment.

Not only were the renovations ongoing, but also, a lot of people in the Pentagon were being moved to the Navy Yard.
Makes it real hard right now, to know what the true location of people was.

I'm just in a state of shock, along with America. My heart is broken,my soul can and will not rest until justice is served.

25 yrs. in US Air Force have served in support of our country from Veitnam (fuel spec. at Gaum) Sec. at Petagon and Dover and one yr. Special Intel. Alaska in isolation.

My prayers, sympathy and love go out to all families,friends,co-workers and rescuers involed.
Please God strengthen us.

I hope and pray that we can from this begin to understand just what America faces now and in the future. We can not hide anymore from the reality of an enemy who's hatred will not go away. They cry peace and safety and then comes sudden destruction. When will we learn?

We can paint pretty pictures of diplomatic resolutions to issues confronting us and others we support but when the other side cares not for honesty and faithful negotiation we are left with today.

The arab world hates are guts. They are going to preach out one side of their mouths they don't support terroist acts. Who the hell is
financing this mess. Until we stop pussy=footing with are enemy it will not get any better. Just heard congreesman say we should not blame all the islamic world,,that's bullpoop ,,I gotta go.

sorry had to retype---got censored

12 years Active Duty Air Force. I have seen things from the Gulf War that I had hoped would never happen again, but today I am stunned. Hightened alert here, as should be at all military facilities. Many may feel in the past that relaliation in certain terms would be ill advised, but all I have to say is SHOW ME THE BASTARD!!!!!!!!

Never actively served, but spent the first 19 years of my life as an AF brat. Was engaged to a helicopter/medic pilot that is still MIA from Vietnam.

My hawk wings are really flapping over this! Don't blame the entire Islamic world? Really? The ones that call us devils, the ones that constantly call for the death of our women and children. Oh no, why don't we kiss and make up...yeah right.

I say get the bastards once and for all!

4 years active duty Air Force (1970-1974) working in intelligence as a Korean linguist. Still in shock , angry but frustrated over a lack of clear target for striking back. I'm praying that we can find an appropriate response that will show that America is still a beacon for democracy and freedom and that we will hold those who attack us accountable for their reprehensible actions.

As I've said before my heart goes out to any service man or woman. I'm a big military fan though I'm not enlisted. I refused to join under Clinton but swore if my country ever needed me I'd be the first in line. Course now I'll have a war at home as my wife will be more vicious then any dictator as I'm now responsible for 3 little girls here.

She told me yesterday I had a family to protect. I said yes, that is why I SHOULD serve.

God bless you all including my two cousins who are in boot-camp right now!
