0 Subject: All hail the new Guru Jr.

Posted by: blue hen, almighty
- Leader [27048221] Mon, May 20, 2002, 04:40

Since no once else bothered to, I hereby declare myself the first Guru Jr. of the 2002 season. I was the only person to vote, so it was unanimous.

Guru Jr.'s must show Guru-like tendencies and garner the most votes in an election.

Previous Guru Jr.'s for 2002 include Blue Hen, the first ever undisputed Guru Jr. since the merger between the RotoGuru boards and the How Did Blue Hen Do boards.

Happy voting...

I gave this thread a 3, BlueHen. I thought it was nice of you to point out that we had forgotten to/stopped electing Guru Juniors. And these raters don't know it's your birthday. And these raters have a tendency to gang on -- they don't have the sense of humour that the olden types do.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday, BH! My roomie is celebrating her oral defense (not comments, please) tonight, but I will poke my head in to Two Dagos if we get to Belltown.

Biliruben... definitely hope to see you there.

Toral... a 3? That's lame. It's at least a 4.

Hmm... looks like J is going to win this election.

I wasn't going to bring that up, PD…….apparently the masses felt you were a good fit. Twice. I recommend a cross country walk to see Seattle Zen. It will all make sense some day.

Let me be the first to hate on Blue Hen. What Guru-like tendencies do you possess? All I see you do is rag on people and post links to ESPN.

It's alright Micheal. You're entitled to your own opinion, wrong as it may be.

Incidentally, if you want to be like me, you need to try to pick on lots of different people (especially dumb ones like Twarpy and RFS), and not just single out one person.

It's spelled right doofus, but you're right, I should have used the contraction of "you are".

Grammar corrections, your wit amazes me.

bh, I chimed in because he originally posted the exact same thing as what is in post #25 in post #23, but he still mispelled "you're" and "your"! No problem though, I like to intrude!

Then why did you say "LOL"? That implies that you thought it was funny, not that you agreed.

bh, you continue to crack me up. Funniest person on this forum. Sorry for the belated Happy B-Day, but I had no idea.

This has been a weird season. I have yet to draw you're ire. Will try to get to the chatroom more. I always enjoy it, but it is too time consuming for me.

- incorrect usage of the contraction "you're" was deliberate.

Blue Hen

You must cease and desist your use of the word almighty®. I registered it as a trademark after the election and you are no longer allowed to use it. I will be using it, unless you make me an offer I can't refuse. If you have a problem with that, contact my lawyer Ronald Scheinbeckbaumstein.

Hey blue hen, I raised chickens back in the day. When I spit on the ground the chickens would fight over it and eat it like it was food or something. What's up with that? I tried chicken.com but they didn't reply.

Micheal - actually, that's the first good idea you've ever had (that I can recall). Putting "almighty" in front of your name instantly associates you with me and validates you in the eyes of those reading this forum. As for the copyright infringement, good luck. I will continue to use the Almighty nickname and there's not a damn thing you can do about it.

AZD - you know better than that. I thought everyone knew I didn't have any ire.

Tim G - that has to be the dumbest question I've ever heard. Not only do I not know... I don't even care!

Blue Hen

Almighty is a registered trademark ®, not copyrighted ©, so copyright infringement would not apply here. Trademark infringement would though. You know when to use a contraction, but don't know the difference between ® and ©?
