Does anyone know the release date for Jose's upcoming tell-all book?

I thought he was just threatening to write it. I didn't think he actually did it, or even started?

He wants to do the illustrations first, and that is slowing him down...

Give the guy a break. It takes a long time to color inside the lines

He hired a writer to do the book, but I am betting that it will never get published. Writing a true tell-all book in baseball would be suicide. He would have to talk about, cheating on wives, steroid use, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, prostitute use, sexual harassmant, smoking weed on chartered airplanes, racism, wife and girlfriend beating, divorce, strip club encounters, how players treat fans so poorly, how greedy players are, how they don't sign autographs and disappoint kids. There is just too much crap to tell that he would be the most hated player on earth in the eyes of the other players. (I wonder if it would include anything about baseball......you know.....the game)

It's not like Canseco would be the first player to do it. Jim Bouton wrote a book titled "Ball Four".

JD - If you ever read Ball Four you would know it's pretty mild compared to what Canseco is threatening. Bouton by the way, lost 95% of his friends in baseball due to that book and has only recently mended some of those fences.

If you want to buy Ball Four, I recommend getting "The Final Pitch" which has long bits at the end from 1980, 1990, and 2000.

Yeah, just ask Scott Ericson what happens when you get caught cheating. Fortunately, most won't beat up their girl for catching them.

Just do what Shaggy says and say it wasn't you ;)

Canseco knocked out in 77 seconds in MMA debut.

Seems like he should stick to writing books.

The referee stopped the fight when the 7-foot-2, 330-pound Choi knocked Canseco to the mat and started punching his head.

7-2 330!
77 seconds is about 76 seconds longer than I would last.

Seems like he should stick to writing coloring books.
