Perusing Baseball Prospectus, I ran across this page and thought, "hmmm, if there is a game on (Ms or Rainiers), this could have been a foundation for the next 'Northwest Gurupies Gathering'."
I still owe Tosh for the ticket last time.
I guess the only real thing holding up the next gathering is waiting for blue hen, almighty to move to Bristol, eh.
Thanks for the ear, I just wanted to post something else I remember Sept 11th for. |

Already did that foo'. Been here three weeks. Shame, I would have gone to the BP thing. I wonder if there's something similar in these parts.
The minors are done for the year, but you might be able to score M's tickets, especially if they get eliminated.

The M's play day games against the Angels on that Saturday and Sunday. I'll mostly likely be there for both :)

You still owe me for a ticket? You deadbeat! Get up here soon so I can take you up on it!
I spent more time seeing the Aquasox than the Mariners this year. I can see 5 Aquasox games for the price of one Mariners game. Plus I made it home with 6 balls this season from Everett (nice souvenirs).
I'm leaving town in a couple hours ... driving straight through to Oakland ... and catching the A's - Mariners game on Saturday. When I bought the tickets, I was certainly hoping for a more menaingful game!

Guess I should have said 'meaningful'.
On a similar note, the Seahawks play the Eagles on my birthday this year (Dec. 8). I am planning to go. Any interest in having a gurupie gathering at a Seahawks game?

I've got Hawks-Redskins (yeah!) tickets lined-up (family friend is a season ticket holder), but I'm game for other games too.

Cool. I'll be in touch a bit later. I don't even know how much tickets cost.

If the Mariners appear to be out of it when the Angels come to town, and tickets become dirt cheap, I'll definately try to make a trip down there. I know biliruben is going to one of the games already. Could make for a decent gathering...I'll keep you posted

Micheal, it was a Gurupie Gathering in Seattle. Some started off by going to the EMP, then meet up with others at a pub for some bites, brew and conversation. Then we walked down to the M's-Royals game at Safeco Field. It was a fun day.

Biliruben, Tosh, Myself, RSF, and Seattle Zen all met in Seattle for a game and went for beers.

Actually, biliruben, Seattle Zen, and myself met up for an M's game this year; that's II. The next one would be III.
