First Ortiz being pulled after some dinky singles for a nothing-but-fastballs metiocre pitcher. Now starting the losingest NL pitcher who sucked earlier in the WS, just because he had a couple nice game 5 years ago! Argh, go to New York Dusty, maybe that'll knock some sense into you. Being a good coach for 10 years is fairly meaningless to choke like this as a manager. |

I just turned on the TV and found out that they are still playing ball... I thought that the season ended on the first week of October when Nick Johnson flied out in Anaheim... :-)

I was screaming at the TV at the end of the 2nd inning to get Livan out of there. He was behind in almost every count and he was whining to the ump when he was just missing. Then he keeps him in to pitch to a lefty, Anderson with the bases loaded and no outs. You gotta be kidding me. What a disgusting 2 days!!!

Absolutely disgusting. But congrats to the Angels. They just keep battling and battling and it is hard to get that 3rd out on them. A great World Series, but I am still disgusted. We had it yesterday and couldn't close the deal.

hey, lets put goodwin in... he's 0 for 6 and can't even keep his back foot still when taking a swing that, at most, would give him an infield single

I think Dusty is preparing for his time as the Cubs manager...the closer to the Cubs job he gets the dumber he gets...isn't this guy a 3 time manager of the year...what happenned?
