Thanks Kerry, and most hitters took the day off on my team.

Dreifort came through for me but I had to sell him (and KB before him) to avoid Coors.

I'm gonna go against my normal thing and hold Dreifort through Coors. For his price he has been great and I know I'll just want him again. I'll just hope for anything on the positive side.

Why have I just kept ignoring Vernon Wells????

I'm holding Dreifort every team I have him, too. It may blow up in my face, but I'm trying to bank trades, and any $$ losses will not be that great as to warrant 2 trades to get out and back in.

Was gonna go Jeter-->Pujols tonite, but realized I already had him. Then I decided to go to Glaus. I guess I'm on a 3B kick.

Held Giles b/c of no trades on this team, and am keeping him as he scored 25 tonite.

This team's revitalization is due in large part to Gagne. Current staff is:

Smoltz
Gagne
Loaiza
Biddle
Dreifort

The plan is to rotate out of Loaiza after his Saturday start to a top pitcher.

I currently have $11 mill + in the bank on this team. I noticed the same thing on a couple other of my teams, too. Am I the only one with the excess of unspent cash? I've been working on transitioning some $$ from hitters to pitchers, so that's where it's come from.

I'm up over 2000 spots in the last week. I moved up in WWR every day since 5/16, and managed to move up 3 spots in the division to boot.

OK, my brag time is over now... I just needed a little self-congratulation :-)

I'm keeping Dreifort because I can't find anyone else for the price. Don't want to move a hitter just to free up cash.

Fingers crossed for @COL.

watch out Chuck, you're right on the verge of crossing into the land of 4 digit WWR freaks!

I kept Prior through his start at Coors and was certainly rewarded but Dreifort is still so erratic. With excess PTs, I decided to drop him even though I plan to pick him up again immediately after.

I ended up ditching Dreifort on teams where I had excess PT's (5+). This team did not qualify. I'm hoping my recent success will carry over enough to cover a Coors start.

Kendall/Pujols/Rolen/Byrnes: 160 points
Rest of the team: -1 points

However, even w/ no pitchers going, I move up 172 spots to position 9849!!! Even the butt of the patrons are starting an upward push as we now have 42 members in 4 digit territory.

Watch out up top! And J: I'm only 101 points behind you. Fear me. ;) Of course you have 3 guys going to just my Loaiza, so unless they bomb, you should open up more of a gap. I don't think I'm gonna end up picking up a starter for Saturday w/ only 3 PT's at the moment.

Wow, what a day!

451 points is my highest on any team all season by far. Thanks go to:
Brown/Hudson/Smoltz/Biddle
Giles/Rolen/Everett/Glaus

My worst hitter of the day: Pooholes... go figure!

I jumped 1600 in WWR. Good stuff. Now to bank some trades again.

Ok I'm the genius who actually picked up Dreifort for his start last night. Those that held I understand.
That was a major hurt, I thought he could at least get positive points and I had Webb who was hurt and missing his next start and I wanted DD after.
Sometimes it hurts to roll the dice

J-- Very nice run. Don't forget your buds from the bottom!

I feel like my hitters are holding me steady now, and my pitchers, when they go, give me a boost. Had 256 yesterday with no starting pitchers and only 2 closers on the staff (only 1 pitched yesterday). I still don't have this down perfectly, but this team isn't my best one, either, which is encouraging, too.

thanks Chuck, I've been getting real lucky with all my moves.

My last 12 pitcher starts have avg'd 96.5pts a start! With the worst being Tim Hudson's 69 on May 25. Since then I have been getting great starts from KB, Loaiza and whoever I happen to have at the time in the other start. Gagne & Smoltz are must-haves, in my opinion. Then my hitters have been carrying me. Its also nice to have more money than everyone else :)

Been thinking about that Dontrelle Willis train but I really like my starters now (Smoltz, GAgne, Williams, Brown, Schmidt) and the ability to use the PTs for matchups rather than making money. Less RV this season but better results.
