0 Subject: Gurupie 20 Official Keepers

Please only list your Keepers in this thread.

You may keep up to Nine of your players from your roster.

You must post your keepers by no later than Noon ET on Friday March 4th, or they will be selected for you.

Once Keepers are posted, they are final. You may keep less than nine. You may trade keepers after you have declared, but you may not go over nine until all 20 teams have officially declared. At that point you may go up to 23 players.

Remember, once you hit 23 players, your draft is over. If you still have picks remaining, they will be forfeited. (You may trade extra picks as long as you do so before that pick has come up).

If you keep less than nine, the only way you can add keepers is via trade. Once submitted, the only way you can drop a player is via an uneven trade before all 20 teams have submitted their Keepers that puts you over six keepers.

The add/drops are being turned on. Once you claim your keepers please go to your team and drop the players that are no longer on your team. Technically, we should have made all teams that are over 23 to get down to that mark. But unless you are over 23, don't start dropping players until after claiming your keepers. Hint, you can hold control and click on all your players you're dropping and you can drop them all at once.

I didn't really want to declare my keepers this early, but the way my week is wrapping up, I may be too busy come Friday to remember about it. So here goes:

1. Carlos Delgado, 1st Flo
2. Jose Reyes, 2nd/SS NYM
3. Jimmy Rollins, SS Phi
4. Adrian Beltre, 3rd, Sea
5. Manny Ramirez, OF Bos
6. Javier Vazquez, SP, Ari
7. Wade Miller, SP, Bos
8. Freddy Garcia, SP ChW
9. Eddie Guardado, RP Sea

Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with my keepers here. Adding Delgado, Vazquez and Reyes (assuming all stay healthy) should be a big boost for my team. I view the 3 of them as a sizeable improvement over Harden, Bay and Giles.

Gives me a good foundation to work from.
Also, I got 2nd, SS and 3rd locked up already.

My keeper list goal this year was to post it after Ref posted his. No reason other than he always waits until the end, and I've got the time. Looks like he beat me again, keeping his recond unblemished. :-)

OK Here goes. Tough call, but ultimately, I've got a first baseman and two backup first baseman. Keeping another first baseman, even though it pains me, would not be best for my team at this point. So my keepers are as follows:

1. Piazza - C/1B
2. Wilkerson - 1B/OF
3. Giles, B - OF
4. Cordero, C - P
5. Schmidt - P
6. Smoltz - P
7. Rodriquez, A - 3B
8. Hafner - 1B
9. Johnson, R - P
