0 Subject: OT: Jersey Framing

I was wondering if anyone has ever done framing of a jersey? I have one that I'd like to frame and I got an estimate at Aaron's Brothers Framing Store and they told me about 390 and I think that's kind of ridiculously high or is custom framing just that expensive?

What are my options?

Michaels Arts and Crafts Store told me about 200 but they have a sale going on this week so thats why its lower than Aarons Brothers.

200 still seems a bit too pricy to me, but I don't really know about this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

size of the jersey is a XL (College Football Jersey)
Frame would be about 34 in x 36 in.

I paid almost $300 to frame a jersey last year (then another $80 to replace the glass after firing a hot-ball through it. Leave the hockey sticks in the closet after a few beers!).

Didn't Guru get that Indians jersey framed that we got him one year?

I actually think I remember asking him that, PD, and think he said he never did for one reason or another. Sometimes I think about the fact that Manny is now w/ the Sox, and that the jersey lost a lot of the meaning, and get bummed out about it. That was a cool thing WaB organized.

I did get it framed. Cost around $250-300, as I recall.

Signatures on it were Sandy Alomar, Matt Williams, Marquis Grissom, David Justice, Jim Thome, and Manny Ramirez. Four are still playing, but none have been on the Tribe for quite awhile.

Wow. I didn't realize it was signed by so many. Amazing how much I can forget in the span of a few years.

Didn't realize Alomar was still around. I guess appearing in only 20 games will do that.

nice guru

so 200 dollars sounds like a good price. Promo ends this week, so I guess I'll go in today.
