Baseball Challenge 2007 starts with the MLB game scheduled for April 1, 2007 (Mets vs. Cardinals). The links in the opening post of this thread are also valid for this year's game. Anyone interested in competing is welcome to join BBC Regs on a Raft; same password, fenway, as last season. We are using daily game scoring.

Prizes:

Daily Game Grand Prize Winner
Two tickets to the 2008 Major League Baseball All-Star Game at the Giant Toilet in the Bronx; also includes air fare, hotel stay, and transportation costs.

Daily Game Segment #1 Winner
Daily Game Segment #2 Winner
Winner of each segment receives an EA Sports game pack that contains nine EA Sports titles.

Unfortunately, it appears that the tightwads at E$PN will not be offering Diamond Daily this year. BOOOOOO!

Baseball Challenge 2008 is now accepting entries. If you stayed away from this free game last season for fear of winning the Grand Prize, take heart: There's no trip to the Bronx this year!

The BBC links in the opening post will work for the 2008 game, as will the private group name and password. Scoring begins March 30 with the first U.S.-based game of the season, Atlanta at Washington.

Prizes for BBC 2008 are gift certificate from Circuit City.

E$PN's Baseball Challenge 2010 is now accepting entries. Once again, this is a free game. Each entrant is allowed one team in each of the two scoring formats.

For those interested in participating in a private group, you are welcome to join:
BBC Regs on a Raft ... daily scoring method; rosters lock at 2:59 a.m. Eastern time for the upcoming day's games.
BBC Regs on a Raft Weekly ... weekly scoring method; rosters lock at 2:59 a.m. Eastern time on the Monday morning of the current week.
The password for both groups is fenway.

Cheesy Prizes
(In the immortal words of Dave Barry: "I am not making this up.")

If you'd like to receive a personal invitation to future E$PN mini-games — freebies only — send me an e-mail so that I can add your information to my address book (which, unfortunately, I am having to rebuild from scratch due to a hard drive failure); please include your RotoGuru screen name.

E$PN's Baseball Challenge 2011 is open for entries. Those interested in participating with a small group of misfits are welcome to join BCC Regs on a Raft; this is a public group, no password required. Daily scoring method applies.

Last year's cheezy prizes ("Winner's Circle" points) have given way to $1,000 Best Buy gift cards to the first-place finishers in each segment.

Rosters for opening day games lock March 31 at 2:59 a.m. Eastern.

hey, mario!!!

Do they really have price updates in this game? Never played before, and the rules say price updatiing weekly at 3 ayem eastern on Monday. Hasn't happened. Also, are the changes based on totoal buys vs. sells for the repricing period, or some other eqation? Any help is appreciated. Good Luck.

Not so sure a best buy gift certificate is the best prize these days as they are closing a ton of stores...

My recollection from previous seasons is that player values changed after the first full week of each segment. (I've heard from others that this year's market values changed for the weekly scoring format but not daily scoring. Whoops.) Changes are not based on buys vs. sells; supposedly, they are based on player and pitching staff statistical performance for the previous seven days. Roster "locked" values cannot exceed $50.0M.
