If it's anything worse than trying to use ESPN's draft application, you're a winner.

Seriously. Just like the rest of the kinks with their site, only worse, AND it costs $30 more than Yahoo with no kinks.

Really sad KKB - the league is one that's always been set up by a cousin of mine (who won the thing for like 6 years before inviting me) who plays for the "bragging-rights" T-Shirt they offer for winning a league. Have begged and begged him to change it to Yahoo for months, and said that I'd buy him a shirt that said whatever he wanted (clv sucks wasn't even off-limits), and got stuck when he called me while I was out of the office today saying that they were going to reschedule the draft so it'd take place before I leave on vacation Wednesday morning - after hanging up, I cussed myself for hours BEFORE seeing how bad the draft software crashed everything.
Still considering asking for a refund (as is everyone in the league at this point), but will be the last dime ESPN gets out of me regardless of what happens.

I try to keep quiet on these issues, but I really feel compelled to speak up here.
Are you aware that ESPN has completely free fantasy baseball leagues this season? Completely free as in you get live stats without paying for Stat Tracker. FREE. Zero dollars and zero cents. I won't profess that ESPN is perfect, but you certainly have very little right to complain about the cost.
UNLESS... you were playing in a "prize-eligible" league. These cost 30 dollars and you can't customize your league. In fact, the rosters are much smaller than you're used to - only six starting pitcher slots. If you're playing for bragging rights with your brother, in a league that's been around for years, and you chose this type of league, well, somebody didn't do their research.
As for the draft application, this year's is definitely much more stable than in years past. In fact, I welcome people to sign up for a free league (or even take part in a mock draft) and comment on the draft app right here in this thread.
If all of that fails, I recommend calling the customer service line at 888-549-ESPN (3776). This is support dedicated specifically to ESPN Fantasy Games. Do other websites offer that kind of service?
CLV, you've been a pretty big fan of ESPN for a while. I am sad to see something has pushed you that far. I hope it can get resolved.

I tell you one thing, NBA.com's free league has been disappointing this year. If ESPN offers the same for NBA, G20 would sure to look at it, otherwise, we might be headed back to Yahoo! as well.

I've done 2 of the free game drafts and was very pleased with the interface. The only problem is the same with any free league, poor attendance. With no money commitment it just isn't important to show up. I expect that those that didn't show for the draft won't play during the season.
