I hadn't seen that, but a lot of the personal info I knew from Three Nights In August. While I have a lot of respect for what he's done and certainly for how he helped evolve the specialized bullpen, LaRussa seems to have some troubles off the field, both for himself and for those who look to him as a mentor.

LaRussa is a self-absorbed child whose mouth is out-pacing his ability to fabricate. His loyal and short-sighted defense of everybody (except Conseco) accused of using PED's is the facade of an egomanic.
Lou shoud take a fungo to LaRussa's face.
