Will the play in games count if there are any on Monday? I am in a couple of finals and want to leave a few moves if I will be able to use them on that day.

The playoffs say (Sept 17 - Sept 30) in my league anyway and I don't see how they could extend it. I could see it in roto but not in h2h.

Here is what it says in the rules. Still not totally clear if the games after Sept 30 are considered 'playoff' games or not, but I am pretty sure the season ends on Sept 30 in h2h regardless. Not 100% sure though.

Playoffs are only for Head-to-Head Leagues and, regardless of size of your league, no more than six teams will ever participate in the championship bracket.

Additionally, the fantasy playoffs do not include any real-life professional baseball playoff contests.

hmm, here is what it says under "Playing Season" and since these tie-breaker games would be considered part of the regular season maybe they do count. Still seems unlikely in a h2h given that the duration of the playoff finals is specified with a hard end date of Sept 30 and not End of Regular Season.

Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Baseball runs throughout the entire 2007 baseball regular season, which begins on Sunday, April 1 and is scheduled to end on Sunday, September 30.

and is scheduled to end on Sunday, September 30.

the scheduled to end part is what had me thinking it could go on for another day. The stats accumulated during the game are regular season stats and count toward the totals.

That would actually be pretty weak in a h2h league if they counted a Monday tie-breaker game. Say there is only 1 game on Monday and one player takes every single starter and dumps all their other players. Doesn't seem like something they would want to allow to happen.

What is even weaker is that Yahoo is NOT counting the game for ROTO leagues - I am .5 behind the leader and tied in RBIs going into tonight's Pads/Rockies game (I have Agonz) Yahoo doesn't want to bother facilitating this change but this IS a regular season game (a make-up) and I am SO pissed they are ducking out on this one. It may cost me the championship!

OF COURSE Adrian Gonz hits a FREAKING Grand Slam that would have given me the title. YAHOO WHERE ARE YOU?

It's a tiebreaker, not a makeup. And I agree with Yahoo's decision not to include today's game because although it is a regular season game, I think it would be more unfair for the manager being in first to be up against another manager who gets a free game from a player in today's game.

Roto leagues it should count. H2H it shouldn't.

This is part of the regular season. Some rainouts aren't even made up because they have no bearing on the championships. Those games were part of the regular season and not played. All regular seaosn stats from this game count in mlb. Stes who don't count them are lame IMM. Fact is that some are and some aren't.

It's not practical to count it in H2H as it's one game to decide a whole week.

I should say weekly H2h's shouldn't unless this game counts in the previous week.

Here is what CBS says:

One Game Playoff
Please note that the game between San Diego and Colorado that will be played on 10/1 will count for all roto leagues and any head to head or ranked league that run through the end of the season. This game's stats count as regular season stats and should be counted in your league as such.

How would an extra H2H game count for a whole week? (since the playoff bracket would be at its end). Wouldn't today's stats just be added to the previous week?

Probably. In that case it would be fine. But most H2H's stipulate Mon-Sun weeks.
