Found it-----http://www.beckett.com/grading/ subform_sports.asp
Anyone do this----is it a ripoff? I want to resell it on eBay would be my reasoning to do it.

I would say it just depends on the cards value whether you should get it graded or not.
If it is worth 100s of dollars it is probably well worth getting it graded....if it is a $10 card I wouldn't bother.

TRS is right about the value thing it is no sense to get a card graded under 100 dollars. Graded does help selling though.
I believe there is PSA Grading which was the standard years ago, I don't know if Beckett has passed them

Haven't looked in awhile, but at one time there were 3 different groups grading. A few others tried to enter the mix, but just never caught on. Like JTSerb said, PSA was always the way to go.
Used to be you could get a better deal by grading more than one card at a pop.
Get out your magnifying glass and look at centering and corners to get a feel where you think it will grade out at.
That will also help decide whether or not to pay.

This is a combo card: autograph and jersey. Seems regular cards sell for $75-$100--Graded $100-$300 on eBAY. If Jacoby does well in post seson it could raise that price.
