0 Subject: Yahoo Question (Innings)

Let's say you have 7 innings left in Yahoo, but your pitcher pitches
8 and gets the win. Do you get the win even though you exceeded
innings by 1?

This might happen to me today.

I believe you get all applicable points for the day you go over the max. So if you start 5 guys today and they go 45 innings total you still get all the points. I think.

That's right. Every inning counts if you are under the max on the last day.

In fact, if you had 5 inning left on a day last week, each inning from your pitchers on that day would have counted, though no innings afterward.

So I should start ALL THREE pitchers that can pitch today then?

Yeah, if you think they will get you something positive out of them. If you are close in K's for example, load them up!

Exactly---Ks is the issue. Thanks for the GREAT insight! So glad I
asked.

I assume then since I have 1 OF game left that only the first OF'er
to play counts? Or do all 3?

Hmmm. That I don't know. My guess is that it is like the pitchers, and Yahoo doesn't choose which stats from the last day to use but uses them all.

PD: BTW---my FFB league you helped me with (remember the TD
only league???) is 2-1---but I lost Steven Jackson!!!

Ouch! He's out a minimum 2 weeks, I hear.

I lost Brandon Jackson myself, but got lucky and picked up Derek Anderson just before his monster game against Cincinnati.

can throw a lot of INTs too!

Does the playoff tomorrow count, or is yahoo done?

Apparently, today's game does not count for Yahoo.
