The press box will be named after longtime Washington Post scribe Shirley Povich. Located high above the suite level, it will be 12,000 square feet and feature four radio booths, four television booths and 100 media seats.
There will be 181 point-of-sale concession stands in the ballpark.
Nationals fans will probably be a little stunned by the new concourses. On the main level the concourse will be 40 feet wide on average.
Eight escalators and seven elevators will move fans between levels.

Good stuff. My sister lives in DC so I will definitely make an appearance sometime this year. Very pissed that the Mets don't have a weekend date in DC all year!!!!!

Where ever they play it has to be better than RFK...I saw a game there two years ago and that place was a dive.

Definitely a fan of the seats behind home plate being at field level.

ChicagoTRS, interestingly, RFK was designed for baseball. Go figure.
A group of co-workers is already talking about taking in a game or two this season at the new stadium. This makes me want to go that much more.

Actually, I should have said that it was designed for both football and baseball, but it always seemed more natural in its baseball layout.

RFK was definitely the least aesthetically pleasing MLB stadium. This stadium of course is an obvious upgrade and will help drive up the attendance.

Anybody who goes to National park should search out the Ben's Chili Bowl stand. Ben's is a DC institution (open for 40+ years and the only establishment that stayed open on U. St. during the riots) that has some of the best chili-related food I've ever had. It was a big deal when it was announced they would have a stand in the park. The half-smoke with chili (and cheese/onions) is the standard fare. But, I'm partial to the chili cheese fries myself. Anyway, find Ben's...you won't be disappointed...it's true DC flavor.

I have never been to RFK, but I bet you've never been to Tropicana.

Been to both and I'd have to agree with Razor. RFK was just old. Tropicana was ugly from the start (which I was there for).

I've been to the Trop. While it's not aesthetically pleasing, I didn't have much of a problem with it. Of course I had great seats and watched a great game.

I've been to both RFK and the Trop. The Trop was kind of like a joke stadium, like playing in a high school gym. That in itself was actually pretty interesting, although I'll admit that it was pretty ugly all around.
And I also didn't mind RFK much - but remember that I grew up with Veterans Stadium. This one looks pretty nice and I plan to make a trip there this summer.
