0 Subject: TSN Ultimate Baseball - 1st day Price Movers

Anybody playing TSN ultimate baseball? I'm considering several moves today, but have only pulled the trigger on a couple:

Sold Kerry Wood, added Lyon
Sold Kerry Wood, added Nesheck

Anybody see big price droppers, other than Wood?

Myers should drop a ton.

True, didn't have Myers on any of my three teams. I suppose Nady will be a big gainer, but I'm staying clear of him for now.

Nesheck? Did Nathan get hurt and I missed it?

LOL, no Nathan not hurt. I did some calcs...Nesheck is only 0.5M, so no downside risk...with the 5pts for a hold and his WHIP & K/IP ratio, he's actually not a bad investment.

Gutierrez looks like a good buy. i think him and Lyon are going to be my only two purchases of the day.

I would expect Gomez and Gwynn to be among the top gainers.

Gomez agreed. I watched the Twins game last night & this kid has amazing speed. One of of the steals, they pitched out & he was still safe by a mile. If he can get on base, it could be 85+ steals.

I'm not sure Gwynn will change much...slightly up.

mtpoke, the throw was a mile over his head, watch the replay again, a good throw would have made for a good close play....

So, a good throw makes for a close play...but, safe on a pitch-out. Hmm...wonder what that means when they don't pitch out.

Pedro will be a big buy tonite, but also the biggest loser in a few days. I feel sorry for those who started off with Wood, Myers and Pedro. But then, that's why I go a day late. ;o}

that means napoli sucks at throwing guys out...

The only reason I said a good throw makes it close is because we'll never know for sure, but I think he would have been out for sure if the throw was there....

Yeah, the kids fast but he was most likely only safe because of the a. very poor throw, and b. napoli making that throw. Pudge makes that play and he is gone by a long shot. Also he isn't Reyes or Ichiro fast...
