If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. T hat is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) April 2, 2008 Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers, 1:05 pm (R) Brian Bannister (0-0) vs. (L) Kenny Rogers (0-0) Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs, 2:20 pm (R) Jeff Suppan (0-0) vs. (L) Ted Lilly (0-0) Boston Red Sox at Oakland Athletics, 3:35 pm (L) Jon Lester (0-1) vs. (R) Rich Harden (1-0) Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians, 7:05 pm (R) Javier Vazquez (0-0) vs. (R) Fausto Carmona (0-0) Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees, 7:05 pm (R) AJ Burnett (0-0) vs. (R) Mike Mussina (0-0) Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 pm (R) Matt Garza (0-0) vs. (R) Daniel Cabrera (0-0) Washington Nationals at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 pm (R) Tim Redding (0-0) vs. (L) Cole Hamels (0-0) New York Mets at Florida Marlins, 7:10 pm (L) Oliver Perez (0-0) vs. (L) Andrew Miller (0-0) Pittsburgh Pirates at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 pm (L) Tom Gorzelanny (0-0) vs. (R) Jair Jurrjens (0-0) Arizona Diamondbacks at Cincinnati Reds, 7:10 pm (R) Dan Haren (0-0) vs. (R) Bronson Arroyo (0-0) Anaheim Angels at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm (L) Joe Saunders (0-0) vs. (R) Nick Blackburn (0-0) Colorado Rockies at St. Louis Cardinals, 8:15 pm (R) Aaron Cook (0-0) vs. (R) Todd Wellemeyer (0-0) Houston Astros at San Diego Padres, 10:05 pm (L) Wandy Rodriguez (0-0) vs. (R) Greg Maddux (0-0) Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 pm (R) Jason Jennings (0-0) vs. (R) Carlos Silva (0-0) San Francisco Giants at Los Angeles Dodgers, 10:10 pm (R) Tim Lincecum (0-0) vs. (R) Chad Billingsley (0-0) 0 0 Probable Starting Pitchers from The Sports Network
