If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. T hat is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) April 6, 2008 Tampa Bay Rays at New York Yankees, 1:05 pm (R) Edwin Jackson (0-0) vs. (L) Andy Pettitte (0-0) Houston Astros at Chicago Cubs, 1:05 pm (R) Roy Oswalt (0-1) vs. (R) Jason Marquis (0-0) San Francisco Giants at Milwaukee Brewers, 1:05 pm (R) Kevin Correia (0-0) vs. (L) Manny Parra (0-0) Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays, 1:07 pm (R) Clay Buchholz (0-0) vs. (R) Jesse Litsch (0-0) Washington Nationals at St. Louis Cardinals, 1:10 pm (L) Matt Chico (0-0) vs. (R) Adam Wainwright (0-0) Philadelphia Phillies at Cincinnati Reds, 1:10 pm (R) Adam Eaton (0-0) vs. (R) Aaron Harang (0-1) Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins, 2:10 pm (R) Gil Meche (0-0) vs. (R) Livan Hernandez (1-0) Chicago White Sox at Detroit Tigers, 3:55 pm (R) Gavin Floyd (0-0) vs. (L) Dontrelle Willis (0-0) Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres, 3:55 pm (R) Brad Penny (1-0) vs. (R) Jake Peavy (1-0) New York Mets at Atlanta Braves, 3:55 pm (R) John Maine (0-0) vs. (R) Tim Hudson (0-0) Cleveland Indians at Oakland Athletics, 4:05 pm (L) C.C.
