[rant] What does it take for Bud Black to realize that once Cla Meredith's behind hits the dugout bench it deactivates his arm? Do NOT send him back out for a second inning![rant off]

Prince Fielder: You are hitting .224 with no homers and 7 RBIs. Brian Roberts has 5 rbis and he's leading off for a terrible team. I understand that there isn't a good table setter in front of you, but come on man. Hit a homer. Or at least .300

I have three teams this year and my ace pitcher on all three of them is the same.

His first name starts with C and ends with CRAP!

Tejada is killing keeper league owners getting 2 years older this morning.

Astros shortstop Miguel Tejada has told the team he's actually 33, two years older than he's listed in the club's media guide and other baseball records.

Prince, can you come out and tell the world that you are really 350 lbs? Maybe then you can hit a homer, or get an hit. Reverse jinx not working here...

I did hear that Prince became a vegetarian in the offseason. Someone get that man a 24 ounce steak. Or at LEAST a Big Mac.

- R. Weeks hit by pitch
- J.J. Hardy sacrificed to pitcher, H. Iribarren to third, R. Weeks to second
- R. Braun hit sacrifice fly to left, H. Iribarren scored
- R. Flores relieved R. Franklin
- P. Fielder doubled to left, R. Weeks scored
- C. Hart intentionally walked

Okay. It worked to some extent. Not dingers, but it's something.

On my $$ team, I've got:

Ortiz
Sabathia
Andruw Jones
M. Lowell

Funny thing is that I thought I had a decent team when the season started. Oh well, enough of the whining.

The Rocks/Dodgers game tonight has been the sloppiest I can remember in every area for both teams.

Not resurrect a Daily Action thread, but I think this little tidbit belonged here.

From Yahoo Player News page: May 22 RHP Cla Meredith gave up three runs in just 1 1/3 innings in what ranks as his second-worst outing of the season. He gave up four runs against Colorado on April 16. Meredith has allowed an earned run in only five of his 25 appearances this season.

And what do these two outings have in common? Why, Mr. Meredith came back out to start another inning! Somebody needs to send Bub Black a link to this thread. Idiot.
