If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. T hat is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) July 5, 2008 Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees, 3:55 pm (R) Justin Masterson (4-2) vs. (R) Mike Mussina (10-6) Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals, 3:55 pm (L) Ted Lilly (9-5) vs. (R) Kyle Lohse (10-2) Kansas City Royals at Tampa Bay Rays, 6:10 pm (R) Zack Greinke (7-4) vs. (R) Andy Sonnanstine (9-3) Oakland Athletics at Chicago White Sox, 7:05 pm (L) Greg Smith (5-6) vs. (R) Gavin Floyd (9-4) Texas Rangers at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 pm (R) Scott Feldman (2-3) vs. (L) Brian Burres (6-5) New York Mets at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 pm (R) John Maine (8-6) vs. (L) Jamie Moyer (7-6) Pittsburgh Pirates at Milwaukee Brewers, 7:05 pm (L) Paul Maholm (5-5) vs. (R) Dave Bush (4-8) Cleveland Indians at Minnesota Twins, 7:10 pm (L) Aaron Laffey (4-5) vs. (R) Kevin Slowey (5-6) Houston Astros at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 pm (R) Chris Sampson (3-3) vs. (L) Jo-Jo Reyes (3-6) Washington Nationals at Cincinnati Reds, 7:10 pm (R) Tim Redding (6-3) vs. (R) Josh Fogg (1-2) Florida Marlins at Colorado Rockies, 8:05 pm (R) Ryan Tucker (2-2) vs. (L) Jorge De La Rosa (2-4) San Diego Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks, 8:10 pm (R) Jake Peavy (5-5) vs. (L) Doug Davis (3-3) Toronto Blue Jays at Anaheim Angels, 9:05 pm (R) Roy Halladay (9-6) vs. (R) John Lackey (6-1) Los Angeles Dodgers at San Francisco Giants, 9:05 pm (R) Chan Ho Park (4-2) vs. (L) Barry Zito (3-12) Detroit Tigers at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 pm (R) Armando Galarraga (7-2) vs. (R) R.A.
