Subject: TSN Post ASB RV changes messed up!!!

Looks like TSN erred in applying the RV changes last night.
Before the ASB, we were assured of this:
The period from 11pm ET on Sunday, 7/13 to 11pm ET on Thursday, 7/17, will count as one trading day, in terms of price updates.
In other words, on Thursday, 7/17, pitcher prices (5-day trading period) will take into account all trades going back to 11pm ET on Wednesday, 7/9.
Now, instead of the pitchers having their prices based upon the last five freezes, they have been adjusted for their last five days----a big difference. Maybe I just didn't understand it right. Anybody else have a problem with what they did? |

I see that they halted trading this morning, so they have at least noticed the problem. We'll have to see how they resolve it.
At least there are no afternoon games today. But with some trades already made at botched prices, they've got a mess on their hands, regardless of the resolution.
It boggles the mind that they would screw this up, after all these years - some in which similar mistakes were made.

I agree 100%. Every year it is the same stupid mistakes. There is only one ASB per baseball season......You mean to tell me they cant have one person dedicated to make sure it gets done right?

At a minimum, you would think they would assign some employee the responsibility to review the post-ASB price changes immediately after processing, just to ensure that they are proper - and to be able to suspend trading immediately if there is a problem. Not addressing the issue until the following morning is really wreckless.
