If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. That is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) September 5, 2008 Oakland Athletics at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 pm (L) Dallas Braden (4-3) vs. (L) Chris Waters (2-1) Tampa Bay Rays at Toronto Blue Jays, 7:07 pm (R) Andy Sonnanstine (13-6) vs. (R) Roy Halladay (17-9) Chicago Cubs at Cincinnati Reds, 7:10 pm (L) Ted Lilly (13-8) vs. (R) Bronson Arroyo (13-10) Philadelphia Phillies at New York Mets, 7:10 pm (R) Brett Myers (8-10) vs. (R) Mike Pelfrey (13-8) Washington Nationals at Atlanta Braves, 7:35 pm (R) Jason Bergmann (2-10) vs. (R) Jair Jurrjens (11-9) Boston Red Sox at Texas Rangers, 8:05 pm (R) Josh Beckett (11-9) vs. (R) Kevin Millwood (9-7) San Diego Padres at Milwaukee Brewers, 8:05 pm (R) Josh Geer (1-0) vs. (L) CC Sabathia (9-0) Cleveland Indians at Kansas City Royals, 8:10 pm (R) Anthony Reyes (2-1) vs. (R) Brandon Duckworth (2-0) Detroit Tigers at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm (R) Armando Galarraga (12-4) vs. (L) Francisco Liriano (4-3) Anaheim Angels at Chicago White Sox, 8:11 pm (R) Dustin Moseley (1-3) vs. (L) Mark Buehrle (11-11) Florida Marlins at St. Louis Cardinals, 8:15 pm (R) Ricky Nolasco (13-7) vs. (R) Braden Looper (12-11) Houston Astros at Colorado Rockies, 9:05 pm (R) Brian Moehler (10-5) vs. (R) Ubaldo Jimenez (9-12) Arizona Diamondbacks at Los Angeles Dodgers, 10:05 pm (R) Dan Haren (14-7) vs. (R) Derek Lowe (11-11) New York Yankees at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 pm (L) Andy Pettitte (13-11) vs. (R) Brandon Morrow (1-2) Pittsburgh Pirates at San Francisco Giants, 10:15 pm (L) Zach Duke (4-13) vs. (R) Kevin Correia (3-7) 0 0 Probable Starting Pitchers from The Sports Network

Hi Wiggs, I did it last night in case I forgot today, but I really wanted to wait to see who the starting pitchers were. And now that CC is pitching, I'll take SD to lose!!

For the record, judy, you don't need to say that. You can change your pick anytime (as long as it's not down to the final two people)
