If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. That is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) September 10, 2008 Oakland Athletics at Detroit Tigers, 1:05 pm (R) Sean Gallagher (1-2) vs. (R) Armando Galarraga (12-5) Cincinnati Reds at Milwaukee Brewers, 2:05 pm (R) Bronson Arroyo (14-10) vs. (L) CC Sabathia (9-0) New York Yankees at Anaheim Angels, 3:35 pm (L) Andy Pettitte (13-12) vs. (R) Dustin Moseley (1-4) Arizona Diamondbacks at San Francisco Giants, 3:45 pm (R) Dan Haren (14-8) vs. (R) Brad Hennessey (1-1) Florida Marlins at Philadelphia Phillies, 4:05 pm (R) Ricky Nolasco (13-7) vs. (R) Brett Myers (9-10) Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners, 4:40 pm (R) Kevin Millwood (9-8) vs. (R) Brandon Morrow (2-2) Cleveland Indians at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 pm (L) Scott Lewis (0-0) vs. (L) Chris Waters (2-2) Tampa Bay Rays at Boston Red Sox, 7:05 pm (R) Andy Sonnanstine (13-7) vs. (R) Josh Beckett (12-9) Washington Nationals at New York Mets, 7:10 pm (L) Odalis Perez (6-10) vs. (R) Mike Pelfrey (13-9) Colorado Rockies at Atlanta Braves, 7:10 pm (R) Livan Hernandez (1-3) vs. (R) James Parr (1-0) Pittsburgh Pirates at Houston Astros, 8:05 pm (L) Tom Gorzelanny (6-9) vs. (R) Brian Moehler (10-6) Kansas City Royals at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm (R) Kyle Davies (6-6) vs. (R) Kevin Slowey (11-9) Toronto Blue Jays at Chicago White Sox, 8:11 pm (R) Roy Halladay (18-9) vs. (L) Mark Buehrle (12-11) Chicago Cubs at St. Louis Cardinals, 8:15 pm (L) Ted Lilly (13-9) vs. (R) Braden Looper (12-11) Los Angeles Dodgers at San Diego Padres, 10:05 pm (R) Derek Lowe (12-11) vs. (L) Shawn Estes (2-1) 0 0 Probable Starting Pitchers from The Sports Network
