I've been in a league for the past few years that has incorporated fieldings stats. Currently, it only uses FPCT as it's fielding stat though total errors has been used as well.
To get to the point, I'm looking for a source (free or not) from which I can get a vast array of downloadable stats (preferrably in an excel format) that includes fielding stats as well. I would assume it would included a wide variety of hitting stats as well as a full compliment of pitching stats but most importantly it would include fielding attempts, errors, and fielding pct.
I've searched online and as far as I can find (without actually purchasing the information before I know what I'm actually getting) no one compiles the fielding info (in an easily downloadable form).
Again, I don't care if it costs (well, there is some limitation) and of course free would be nice. Any suggestions?

If you want to move past the Bronze Age fielding percentage stat and join the 21st Century, the place to go for many, many stats is Fangraphs, including fielding. They list UZR for every player.
UZR (ultimate zone rating): The number of runs above or below average a fielder is in both range runs, outfield arm runs, double play runs and error runs combined.
I don't know all that much about UZR. Here's a story that is quite fond of UZR. And here's another.
I don't know how you could make UZR a roto category, but maybe you could figure something out.
