If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. That is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) July 8, 2009 Pittsburgh Pirates at Houston Astros, 2:05 pm (R) Charlie Morton (1-1) vs. (L) Wandy Rodriguez (7-6) Atlanta Braves at Chicago Cubs, 2:20 pm (R) Kenshin Kawakami (4-6) vs. (R) Kevin Hart (0-0) Washington Nationals at Colorado Rockies, 3:10 pm (L) Ross Detwiler (0-4) vs. (L) Jorge De La Rosa (5-7) San Diego Padres at Arizona Diamondbacks, 3:40 pm (R) Chad Gaudin (4-7) vs. (R) Max Scherzer (5-6) Florida Marlins at San Francisco Giants, 3:45 pm (R) Chris Volstad (5-8) vs. (R) Ryan Sadowski (2-0) Baltimore Orioles at Seattle Mariners, 4:40 pm (R) David Hernandez (2-2) vs. (L) Jason Vargas (3-3) Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers, 7:05 pm (R) Zack Greinke (10-4) vs. (L) Lucas French (0-0) Cincinnati Reds at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 pm (R) Homer Bailey (1-0) vs. (R) Rodrigo Lopez (1-0) Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays, 7:08 pm (L) Brian Tallet (5-6) vs. (L) Scott Kazmir (4-5) Oakland Athletics at Boston Red Sox, 7:10 pm (R) Trevor Cahill (5-7) vs. (R) Tim Wakefield (10-3) Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets, 7:10 pm (R) Hiroki Kuroda (3-4) vs. (L) Oliver Perez (1-2) St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers, 8:05 pm (R) Todd Wellemeyer (7-7) vs. (R) Jeff Suppan (5-6) New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm (R) A.J.
