If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. That is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) July 9, 2009 Toronto Blue Jays at Tampa Bay Rays, 12:08 pm (R) Roy Halladay (10-2) vs. (L) David Price (2-3) New York Yankees at Minnesota Twins, 1:10 pm (R) Alfredo Aceves (5-1) vs. (L) Francisco Liriano (4-8) Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox, 2:05 pm (L) David Huff (4-3) vs. (L) Clayton Richard (3-2) St. Louis Cardinals at Milwaukee Brewers, 2:05 pm (R) Joel Pineiro (6-9) vs. (L) Manny Parra (3-8) Cincinnati Reds at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 pm (R) Micah Owings (6-8) vs. (L) Jamie Moyer (7-6) Kansas City Royals at Boston Red Sox, 7:10 pm (R) Luke Hochevar (4-3) vs. (R) Brad Penny (6-3) Los Angeles Dodgers at New York Mets, 7:10 pm (L) Randy Wolf (3-3) vs. (R) Livan Hernandez (5-4) Washington Nationals at Houston Astros, 8:05 pm (L) John Lannan (6-5) vs. (R) Russ Ortiz (3-4) Atlanta Braves at Colorado Rockies, 8:40 pm (R) Tommy Hanson (4-0) vs. (R) Aaron Cook (8-3) Florida Marlins at Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 pm (L) Andrew Miller (3-4) vs. (R) Yusmeiro Petit (0-3) Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 pm (R) Tommy Hunter (1-1) vs. (R) Felix Hernandez (8-3) San Diego Padres at San Francisco Giants, 10:15 pm (R) Josh Geer (1-3) vs. (R) Tim Lincecum (9-2) 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 Probable Starting Pitchers from The Sports Network
