If you do not pick a team for the first day of the contest, you can't join midway through, you'll have to wait for the next game to start. Look for the word *NEW* in the thread title. 2. Anyone can join, just pick which team you think will lose, you cant pick that team again for 2 weeks. 3. When a new game starts your prior picks are erased and you can choose from any of the teams again. 4. Once you pick a winner, you're considered a loser, please leave ;) 5. Your pick must be in before that particular game starts, you may change your pick as long as your original picks game hasn't started yet. 6. If you do not submit a pick for a given day, it will be counted as a loss, errr, a win, and you will be eliminated. 7. If your game gets rained out, you will be allowed to change your pick to a game that hasn't started yet. Otherwise, a rainout is as good as a win, meaning, you're out! 8. If there is a day with less than 3 games on the schedule, we skip that day and pick things up the day after. 9. Once we get to the final 2 players, a couple of new rules are thrown in… a. Your pick cannot be posted more than 24 hours before that game starts. b. The two finalists cannot have the same picks, first come first serve. -Tiebreaker - Amongst the teams you've picked, sum up their losses on the season. That is how you get your tiebreaker number. The lower the better, it rewards you for picking better teams and staying away from the bad teams. If there is ever a day where everyone picks a winner, the tiebreaker will eliminate every remaining player who doesn't have the lowest number (there may still be 2 or more people with identical tiebreakers, so they'd keep playing another day) July 10, 2009 St. Louis Cardinals at Chicago Cubs, 2:20 pm (R) Chris Carpenter (6-3) vs. (R) Rich Harden (5-5) Cleveland Indians at Detroit Tigers, 7:05 pm (L) Cliff Lee (4-8) vs. (R) Edwin Jackson (6-4) Toronto Blue Jays at Baltimore Orioles, 7:05 pm (L) Brett Cecil (2-1) vs. (R) Jason Berken (1-5) Pittsburgh Pirates at Philadelphia Phillies, 7:05 pm (L) Zach Duke (8-7) vs. (R) Joe Blanton (5-4) Kansas City Royals at Boston Red Sox, 7:10 pm (R) Brian Bannister (6-6) vs. (L) Jon Lester (7-6) Cincinnati Reds at New York Mets, 7:10 pm (R) Bronson Arroyo (8-8) vs. (R) Fernando Nieve (3-2) Oakland Athletics at Tampa Bay Rays, 7:38 pm (R) Vin Mazzaro (2-4) vs. (R) Jeff Niemann (7-4) Los Angeles Dodgers at Milwaukee Brewers, 8:05 pm (R) Chad Billingsley (9-4) vs. (R) Braden Looper (7-4) Washington Nationals at Houston Astros, 8:05 pm (L) Scott Olsen (2-4) vs. (R) Roy Oswalt (5-4) Chicago White Sox at Minnesota Twins, 8:10 pm (L) John Danks (7-6) vs. (R) Nick Blackburn (7-4) Atlanta Braves at Colorado Rockies, 9:10 pm (R) Derek Lowe (7-7) vs. (R) Ubaldo Jimenez (6-8) Florida Marlins at Arizona Diamondbacks, 9:40 pm (R) Ricky Nolasco (6-6) vs. (R) Dan Haren (8-5) New York Yankees at Anaheim Angels, 10:05 pm (R) Joba Chamberlain (4-2) vs. (L) Joe Saunders (8-5) Texas Rangers at Seattle Mariners, 10:10 pm (R) Scott Feldman (7-2) vs. (R) Brandon Morrow (0-3) San Diego Padres at San Francisco Giants, 10:15 pm (R) Josh Banks (1-0) vs. (L) Jonathan Sanchez (2-8) 0 0 Probable Starting Pitchers from The Sports Network
