Subject: Seeking Manager for GuruKeepers

I'm pretty much retiring from fantasy sports (at least keeper leagues) and this is one of the many fantastic keeper teams I've built over the past few years. My first year in the league saw me take 1st place and field a competitive team every year. Last year came down to flip flopping 1st and 2nd and on the last day I was in 2nd.
This year, a mixture of heavy injuries early on and apathy on my part (hence my fantasy league retirement) sees this team mired in dead last.
With the keeper list available from this team, there is no reason to think it will not be competitive in your first year as manager.
We keep 7 players and here is my team as of today:
C A.J. Pierzynski 1B Nick Johnson 2B Chase Utley 3B Aramis Ramírez SS Hanley Ramírez OF Jayson Werth OF Melky Cabrera OF Vladimir Guerrero OF B.J. Upton Util Grady Sizemore BN Ryan Church BN Kelly Johnson BN Scott Rolen BN Carlos Delgado
SP Ervin Santana SP Scott Kazmir RP Matt Capps RP Jason Frasor P David Aardsma P Michael Wuertz P Clayton Kershaw P Joba Chamberlain BN Tim Wakefield BN B.J. Ryan BN Kelvim Escobar DL Brett Myers This league also has a prospect list. My prospects are: Jed Lowrie SS Bos drafted 2008 Lars Anderson, 1st Bos drafted 2009 Buster Posey, C San Fran drafted 2009
Perm Dude is the league commish. Please post interest here. I will gladly give the winning manager time this season to have say in lineup, trades, add/drop etc. |

Though I am not interested, I commend you, Khahan, in this effort to find a qualified replacement while people are still paying attention to baseball. I am certain that your league mates are equally happy with your efforts.

Thanks SZ. No point in waiting until its over. Gives the new manager a chance to put his mark on the team BEFORE the draft in 2010.

Damn, that's a better team that your DD team. Good job getting to this point.
And to further SZ's compliments, Khahan has continued to be active with his DD team despite his intent to drop it. That's good.

PD, wrong team. ;)
This is the gurukeepers league where I've had more injuries than MLB itself. 11 teams and I'm in last place.
But looking forward to next year, there is already a core of players in place that should make an active manager competitive.

Ah, sorry. Built you up a little bit there...
Species, any league in which I'm in the mix (fighting for second place right now) is one with opportunity, no matter where you'd be starting out.
