Looks like Twarpy and bmd need to post and mark. bmd jsut posted and Twarpy just emailed so looks like we will be fine come midnight.
Twarpy has some stuff going on and is going to be away for a couple weeks w/o internet access. Also it seems his time is going to be greatly constrained more than he imagined and needs to find someone to take over his team. If you know anyone who is interested, let me know asap.

I am swamped right now with rl stuff, but am going to work hard to make sure this draft goes as smoothly as ever. I have yet to even look at anything baseball-related except my own team enough to look at my keepers and respond to trade stuff. If for some reason you can't get me quickly, email myself/species/tosh/guru.
We will do the draft as always. I have add players turned on. I know that hoops used kaf and I looked briefly at CBS manual draft, but didn't have time to figure out some things. Plan on having the draft site up as close to Noon ET as possible. Go do your research. I hope to make some time to do that myself late tonight.

2. Sorry to see Twarpy leave. Newer members like Guru may not remember that Twarpy was the ininatior of the surprisingly (to me) successful to me scheme of coldbloodedly disposing of the older members of your team and loading up with total youth. It was amazingly successful. Look how strong Species has become following it -- and he doesn't understand anything about baseball!
Twarp was also known for his blunt and pungent comments about fellow league members and commisshes, no doubt including me, usually insightful. As far as I can figure, he was onme of the smartest two people in the league, and one of the two who knew the most about baseball.

RE: drafting - The boards are blocked from my work, but I can see the mirror site Guru maintains. I hate leaving queues, so if I can't get to a smartphone, I may email my pick to most of the league hoping that someone will make it for me. I'll pay attention to the draft and make sure not to slow things up. Sorry and thanks for the help.
Species - You're just mad one of your usual targets doesn't have anything you want! At least I have an excuse...my son is 1 month today. Things have been hectic!

I tried to talk R9 into Twarpyizing this season, as I wanted the first shot at the carcass.....sadly he didn't fall for it!
darkside - lol - no, you have stuff I would want, but I had traded them to you (Lester) in the first place, and I don't want sloppy seconds.
judy - The draft is merely hosted HERE on the boards and will be completed in the Baseball Standings forum. As each pick is made, each team is required to then go to the CBS Sportsline website and immediately add that player to their team. Thus, the site SHOULD be updated pick-by-pick, so you can sort through the available players in order to consider your picks. Just be sure to use CNTL-F in the draft thread to double-check that the player you intend to draft is still available. It is common for teams to forget if they left a queue or don't have access from work/whatever. The Commishes (Ref, me, Tosh) will often spot those missed pickups but not always.
Ref theorized in post 56 that the draft would start "a couple of days later" after the keeper due date. I think everyone should get their lists ready -- I think we need to get this this rolling TONIGHT or tomorrow at the latest.
