Subject: RIBC 2010: Looking for AA managers

We still have about a dozen (or so) openings for managers in the two AA RIBC leagues. Rules are the same as the RIBC (5x5 roto, but using OBP and SLG instead of BA and HR). No experience necessary, although you should be available throughout the last half of March to participate in the slow online draft, as you'll need to make a draft pick or two each day.
There is no cost to participate. Those finishing in the top half get priority status for a AAA league next year. The winner gets invited to join the RIBC next year.
If you are interested, sign up in one of the two league threads. One will be hosted at Yahoo!, and the other at ESPN. First come, first served. |

If we need to open the AA leagues to duplicate managers (i.e., managers who are already in another RIBC league), who is interested in a second team?
Please list your interest here. I want to wait a few more days, but we may need to open them up, and might as well start a waiting list.

I told Wolfer I would play in his league before I realized I could play in AAA. I would play in both if possible.

For managers not sure if they want to play, it's a very fun and competitive league. You won't find any better competition than you do in the RIBC, even in AA. I was in AAA last year and now I'm back.
So its a good test of your chops and a learning experience.

Been busy and not paying attention. I'm in for an AA team. Prefer Wolfer's league.

If you are a duplicate manager and you really want to play in AA, go ahead and sign up now.
If you are ambivalent and will play only if there is a need, sign up in a specific league as a "wait list manager". This way, when we close out the sign-ups, we'll have a good sense for final counts.

Aaron, pick either Yahoo or ESPN and the commissioner of that league will direct you.

Looks like we need just one more AA manager for the ESPN league.

That is if we count the ones in AAA that also want to play in that league.

Looks like I've lost one in the Southern AA league. Anyone interested? Send me an email.
