I'm going to open this thread up for all seating tips & recommendations that we all need from time to time. Also for notes about the city.

Going to Camden Yards this year. My general price range is the 50-75 range. Good place to sit? My friend also said to try Boog Powell's BBQ stand.

Nice thread GO. We are also doing a road trip this summer, trying to hit up Camden, Yankee Stadium, Fenway, and Philadelphia.

I can offer up tips if anyone is ever coming to Toronto.

I know for Boston we are targeting the bleacher seats, but I would love to hear thoughts on:

I got Champions Club seats at Busch for the Cardinals June 1 game. This will be my first time at the new Busch stadium.

The Champs Club has seating indoors and outdoors, AC, big screens, free food and drinks (including beer) starting two or three hrs before game time. Big buffet with a carving station and salad bar, standard stuff like hot dogs and nachos. Full bar...

I hope I'm not too distracted to watch the game!

Probably going to one of the casinos after the game for blackjack. If someone has a suggestion on that then I'm all ears.

I'll try to post a review and maybe some pics when we get back.

I'm heading to Dodger's Stadium as a deviation from a bit of work in Santa Monica, and was hoping not to rent a car. A little research suggests this may not be possible.

Any ideas on how to navigate 15 miles of LA roads in less than 2 hours without a vehicle?

BTW - I am more than happy and able to give advice about any nuance of the Mariner's experience if you are going to Safeco.

My wife and I caught a Nationals game last season. They had FANTASTIC seats available through StubHub. We got seats along the 3B line (116L), about 20 rows up for a total of about $85.

They have really nice amenities since the ballpark is new and it's super easy to get to via the Metro. The Navy Yard station actually puts you at a road that is blocked off before the games, so you just walk out of the station and follow the people to the stadium about a block or two away.

All in all, a great experience.

A lot of Teams are now running sites to sell tickets that their Season Ticket Holders are unable to use, or just want to sell.
Not sure on the prices, but worth checking out.

Any Questions on Petco Park, I'm more than willing to help out.

Nationals Park is actually really nice. We met a nice man outside who had seats in the second deck right behind home. He sat with us and shared stories of the old Senators and how he jumped to the Orioles bandwagon because they were good when the Senators left.

Camden Yards is awesome. Get there early and enjoy the concourse. New Yankee Stadium copied a lot from this park.

Get to Pittsburgh. It's the nicest park there is, by far. The only problem is the team on the field.

Others I liked: Seattle, Philly, San Francisco, Citi Field, Cleveland. Didn't really care for Angels, Miller Park, Tiger. Tampa and KC were two that exceeded my expectations.

If you're in the minors, check out Wilmington and Staten Island, as well as Surprise, Arizona.

Crap! I just got an email from cardinals.com. It's an "exclusive offer", they're selling Champions Club tickets for the Reds series at $85 a piece. The exact same tickets I just paid $127.50 a piece for! What a rip. That's what I get for being a good customer and buying tickets promptly when they go on sale. I bought 4 tix, so that's $170 I overpaid! They should give me a refund but I wouldn't have any clue who to bother for one. What a bummer!

@holt: Just find a customer service number and call them. I've had that sort of thing happen with other products and usually the company is willing to give you a refund in hopes that the gesture will encourage you to purchase more later.

If you can't find a customer service number, just call the number to order tickets and ask for the number for customer service.

Hotel suggestions for Camden Yards (Inner Harbor area)? I was told Sheraton Inner Harbor was perfect and you can walk to the ballpark or the Inner Harbor but its pretty expensive.

Going back to Baltimore tonight...although no hotel parking to use.

Anyone got suggestions for an Inner Harbor parking garage?

When we went to Camden, we actually left our car on a side street for free. Since it was loaded with all of our gear for the week, I was pretty leery of leaving it there, but when we got back everything was still there and untouched!

Would like to thank Camden Yards for stepping up food at the ballpark...
Always got my Boogs BBQ, but now they added a Polock Johnnys only a few feet away.

Also, good tip for cheap seats -- Tuesdays - all upper deck seats are 10 bucks for Orioles games. We got our 10 dollar tickets (cheaper than a movie!) and then wandered around the upper deck til we found seats we liked with a solid view and no people around us.
