Yup, one of my favorites to watch play. Put his body on the line whenever he played in the field, and payed for it the last decade.

Always sad when a player like Jr retires. I would have hoped to see his get more pt this year a bit--certainly someone like Cleveland or KC would have been very pleased to put him out there with more regular playing time.

.454 OPS.....It was time. Not even KC or Cleveland could have used him. .184 with 2 doubles in 98 at bats.

How many of us guys have the 1989 Upper Deck Series with Griffeys rookie card in it. I remember back then it was one of the more popular sets to have.
