How about that Jamie Moyer?

Another brilliant game -- 2 hitter, 2 - 1 win over CLE.

Eliminate that horrendous start v Boston (9 ER in 1 INN) and here are his season stats:

13 GS, 8 -5, ERA 3.57, 1.13 WHIP (Includes Boston game but not tonight), 35 RA, 44K, 2 CG (He has pitched
into the 6th INN of all but 2 starts -- Boston, NYM)

In his 5 losses (not counting Boston), he's given up 5, 4, 2, 4, 1 runs.

By all rights he should be at least 10 - 4 and with the Phillies "normal" offense, he could be 12 -2.

Not bad for an old guy -- also now shares the record for giving up the most HR -- with Robbie. He has 266
career wins -- #35 on the list.

On the Rotoworld draft site he was the last SP listed -- #170. I guess the number 50 on his back means he
intends to pitch that long -- he's 47 now...

Truly amazing. Possible whispers of the 300 Win Club? Well, that would be unbelievable but at this point I think there's an outside shot.

Pretty sure he'd be the worst player to ever win 300 games.

If he wins 300 games, that means he has 34 wins in the next couple years or so. If he's pitching effectively at 50, that has to count for something. Sure, he can't compare to pretty much anyone on the list (Sutton, Glavine, Niekro, etc), but 34 more wins is still pretty impressive.

What's amazing is that he's only made it to the post-season 4 times (1 world series).

It was probably over 100 degrees on the field. Charlie should have taken him out after the second Prado
HR. But as he admitted in the post game, he does not trust his bullpen.

I think we should trade Werth for Lee. Werth needs a change of scenery. he is one miserable dude. Let
Francisco play RF.

My Phillies are hurting mentally and physically except for Howard. who should recover his HR stroke
shortly...

Hurting? Three straight walk-off wins? Ruiz back? I'll take it.
